Jens Grovermann
Founder & Managing Director
JGPL is an independent Australian Projects Logistics consultancy and advisory business established by Jens Grovermann in 2026.
Jens brings more than 30 years of international freight forwarding, Projects Logistics and leadership experience across Australia, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas. His career combines hands-on operational work with senior commercial responsibility, complex pricing and tender strategy, and the development of Projects Logistics teams and capabilities.
Clients work directly with experienced senior capability, drawing on an understanding of the stakeholders, engineering interfaces, schedules, geographic constraints and commercial pressures that shape a project.
At DB Schenker, Jens held senior roles in Defence, major events and specialised logistics, including National Defence Logistics Manager. His career includes major international sporting programmes such as the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan 2002, alongside charter vessel and air charter logistics.
As Head of Projects at Mondiale VGL Australia from 2022 to 2026, he established and led the Australian Projects Logistics division, developing its operating model, commercial processes and national capability.
These roles and programmes form part of Jens’s professional career with previous employers. They are not projects delivered by JGPL.
Through JGPL, Jens provides independent advisory, commercial and capability-development support, including project planning, mobilisation, independent reviews and mentoring. Engagements are structured around the client’s objectives and the agreed scope.
